Dress Up Your Clothespins
Truth: I'm a thrifty gal. Sure, I spend my money where I think it counts (coughcoughLululemoncoughcough) but I go cheap when brands don't matter. If something serves a great function and I can save money, why would I pay more?
Awhile back I bought a bulk pack of plain old clothespins. I use these all the time as a chip clip, to close my bags of frozen broccoli, to hang some of my prints by my faux office, gift bags, and more. These clothespins have so many uses and it only costs a couple of bucks to buy a bulk back at Target or even the dollar store.
So I thought one day, I use these all the time. So why do they have to look boring? Let's dress them up!
I'm sure I'm not the first person to ever think of pretty-fying my clothespins, but I am here to tell you it's so easy and you can pretty much decorate with things found in your home.
All I used to decorate my clothespins are washi tape, permanent markers in various colors, and some gem stickers from an old craft project. That's it! This tutorial is so easy I'm not even going to write instructions. Just find some pens and fun tape and go nuts!
Will you give this DIY a try? It's so easy that you have nothing to lose.
