A Few Housekeeping Things
I hope everyone enjoyed their weekend. I spent a couple of days down in Fredericksburg for one of my best friends' wedding and spent the rest of the time relaxing and catching up on some much needed Me Time! The photo above is from the entrance of Foode. Who knew you could find such a creative restaurant that serves local and organic food in Downtown Fredericksburg!
I just wanted to share a few little housekeeping things on the blog.
HEY LOVE LIFE
If you were following my personal blog at heylovedc.com, I decided to merge it with this site. The personal posts won't be on the main blog page, but if you want to keep up with my life outside of design, you can now follow me at Hey Love Life. It's now under the same domain as Hey Love Designs - one less domain to maintain and one less host to pay for. If you'd like to subscribe to the posts, go there to grab the RSS link. The personal posts won't show up with my design and creative posts on the main site. (I hope that all makes sense!)
Hey Love Designs is now accepting advertisers! Whether you'd like to pay for a featured spot or do an ad swap, I have a few options for you. I'm not looking to make a ton of money on this (for now). I'd like to help promote like-minded bloggers and friends and offset the costs of website hosting. Every day I check my site stats and am astounded to how fast this little blog is growing. Last month my average daily page views was around 100. Now it's over 200! Now is the time to get your site seen. Rates will increase as my blog gains more readership. All administrative stuff is done through Passionfruit Ads. Click here for more information.
I'm making little changes here and there based on my homework from Alt for Everyone. So don't be surprised if you see a few little kooky things happening here and there. Some little things I've changed are the sharing links and "similar posts" at the bottom of every post and added a greeter to the beginning of every post for new readers. Eventually I'd like to do a huge blog makeover. I've had the same general layout for 3 years now!
I hope you all had a great long weekend!
