Alison's Bridal Shower

Hi Friends!
My friend Alison has a very short engagement and will soon be off to Tel Aviv for two years. Before she gets hitched and moves to the other side of the world, we just had to throw her a bridal shower!! In less than a month, Stefanie, Nicole, and I managed to collaborate over email and throw a nice shower together! It's amazing how well something turns out when you have a shared common goal: to please the bride.
The spread.
The theme was fairy tale princess, since Alison has always loved Disney Princesses, but in the end it was more the color scheme and games that followed that theme. We also went with brunch foods since this was being held around lunchtime. Overall, it still turned out great!
I was able to use my fringe backdrop board (aka The Megaboard) one last time as well as the "Bride to Be" bunting I created as a free printable.
This was one of the products from our original "breakfast bar" idea. The yogurt parfaits were a huge hit and putt them into wine glasses made it more sophisticated.
Anything on a stick = instant fun. Fruit skewers is no exception.
I've been wanting to make tissue tassel garland for the longest time, and I finally did! These were super easy to make, although a bit time consuming. I love how big of a bang you can make with just a few supplies. I will post a tutorial soon!
Overall, everyone had a great time, especially the bride! We had some beautiful spring weather so we spent that time outdoors on the deck.
I hope Alison enjoyed her shower and that the guests had a great time.
