Get Crafty! How to Glitterize Everything (Well, At Least You’re Going to Want to)
If you recall from the superhero themed party I planned there was a big fat sparkly R as the centerpiece.

Now I’m going to show you how easy this craft project was that you’ll want to cover everything in glitter. You’ve been warned.
For this project I used a large cardboard letter sold in the craft stories but this should work for most surfaces.

Supplies Needed:
- Cardboard letter (or whatever other surface you want to glitterize!)
- Mod Podge in Gloss Lustre
- Small foam brush
- Glitter, lots
- Small bowl
- Plastic wrap (optional, but for easy clean up)

Mix the Mod Podge with the glitter in a small bowl or cup. For easy clean up, I covered the bowl in plastic wrap. I can’t tell you the exact amount but you want to mix enough so that you get a nice fluid consistency. If your glitter ends up in globs, you’ll want to add more Mod Podge. This is just a trial and error sort of thing.

Spread the mixture across your surface in even layers or there will be more glitter globs. Let it dry somewhat before taking on your next layer. Continue until the surface is covered in glitter.

Let the surface dry overnight and you’ve got one glittery centerpiece! (This one is slightly clumpy.)

And ladies, if you want glitter shoes without spending a fortune, this is a great way to do it. Just pick a cheap pair of heels.
